Teaching Assistant

EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham (NG3) Start Date: After Easter Contract: Long-term, Full-time Salary: £95 - £105 per day Class Mate is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG3 area of Nottingham seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis after the Easter break. The Role • Support the delivery of engaging learning activities in the EYFS setting • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning • Encourage children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff The Ideal Candidate • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent • Experience working in an EYFS or Nursery setting • Strong communication and organisational skills • Patient, caring, and passionate about early years development • Committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences Requirements • Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent) • Recent experience supporting young children in a UK setting • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) • Ability to provide two professional references Why Join Class Mate? • Competitive pay rates • Long-term opportunities in supportive primary schools • Dedicated consultant support • Opportunities for further placements across local schools If you’re a committed EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role after Easter, we’d love to hear from you
