Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Molesey, Surrey

Pay Range: £90 – £114.55 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary

ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Molesey, Surrey, seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from an immediate start. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them to access learning and thrive in a structured and supportive environment.

The school is known for its strong leadership and commitment to inclusive education, providing staff with the tools and support needed to deliver high-quality interventions.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role in Molesey would suit experienced Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants with proven SEND experience who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:

* Support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

* Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities.

* Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.

* Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.

* Implement strategies from EHCPs and individual support plans.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) or a degree.

* Have proven experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting (essential).

* Demonstrate strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice.

* Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.

* Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

* Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and families.
