Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Reception Class Location: Denton, Tameside Start Date: After Easter Break Pay: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour (6.5 hours per day) Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (with potential to become permanent) Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Denton who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support within a Reception class. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing Early Years setting where you will play a key role in supporting pupils at the very start of their educational journey. The Role Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception classroom (EYFS) Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development Supporting children with varying needs, including SEND Helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team The Ideal Candidate Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Has recent experience working within EYFS / Reception Strong understanding of phonics and early years development Confident supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis Positive, nurturing and proactive approach Good behaviour management and communication skills The School Friendly and inclusive primary school in Denton Supportive leadership team and collaborative staff culture Well-resourced Early Years provision Easily accessible via local transport links What We Offer Empowering Learning offers competitive hourly rates, professional support, and opportunities for CPD.
