Primary School Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School in Cardiff

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £92.95 a day

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cardiff, looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a positive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development, and the ability to build positive relationships within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting with classroom management and daily activities
Encouraging student confidence, participation, and progress.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce).
EWC registration (mandatory for working in Wales).
Willingness to complete safeguarding training.
Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
