Teaching Assistant – SEN (Severe Autism Experience Required) We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with severe autism in a specialist SEN setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a highly supportive and structured environment. Key Requirements: Proven experience working with students with severe autism Strong understanding of behaviour management and supporting complex needs Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students The Role: Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis Assisting with daily routines and structured learning activities Working closely with teachers and therapists Promoting a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment What We’re Looking For: Patient, resilient, and proactive individuals Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
