Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of support services. You will lead by example, providing guidance, supervision, and support to staff while maintaining a calm and professional approach in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of support workers within the Crisis Centre
* Ensure the delivery of safe, responsive, and person-centred care
* Support individuals experiencing mental health crises with empathy and professionalism
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
* Manage staff rotas, performance, and ongoing development
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with policies and regulations
* Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external agencies
Requirements
* Previous experience in a leadership or senior role within health or social care
* Strong understanding of mental health and crisis intervention
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
* Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management procedures
* Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above preferred)
* Driving licence on have own car
