Technical production supervisor role
Role – Technical Production Supervisor role Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum Our client is a reputable and prestigious manufacturer who is looking to expand their team with an addition to their management team. Main duties will include but not limit to –  Manage all technical aspects of the production process, inclusive of all of the machines and equipment  Solve component machining issues as and when necessary with the assistance of the team  Assist and work closely with the Production Supervisor in motivate and driving forward the Department to meet the output requirements.  Provide technical training to any and all members  Liaise with production control on the requirements of the department.  Assist service engineer visits for the equipment  Investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions  Drive forward improvements to completion  Assist production when necessary to maintain production output.  Provide assistance as and when required to any and all members Candidate attributes –  Technically competent with Machines and Equipment.  Experience of working with a Production team in a 24/7, or at the very least, a shift type manufacturing environment.  At least 5-10 years’ experience of working in a high output production environment.  Excellent mechanical aptitude and be able to solve Technical issues which may be encountered with Lathe Machines and Equipment.  Familiar with ISO 9001:2015, organised and most importantly, be willing to go the extra mile.  Required to work outside of normal working hours to spend time with each shift on a regular basis.
