Our Client is looking for Technician with Diagnostic Experience - German Car Specialist

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of German vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.

Duties

* Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.

* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.

* Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.

* Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate diagnostics and repairs.

* Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal condition.

* Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as required during repair or refurbishment processes.

* Undertake heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or components during repairs.

* Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures followed.

* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service provided.

Experience

* Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or repair is preferred; however, training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical schematics and manuals.

* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.

* Experience with equipment repair, maintenance tasks, and general vehicle diagnostics.

* Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and workshop safety standards.

* Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.

* Previous experience in customer service is advantageous but not essential; a professional attitude is required at all times.
