The Opportunity
We’re recruiting for an Electrician (Telemetry) to join a growing engineering team delivering critical projects across the water sector. This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on telemetry systems, instrumentation, and electrical installations.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering new and replacement telemetry systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple sites.
Key duties include:
* Installing and maintaining ME&I (Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation) systems
* Fault finding on telemetry and instrumentation systems
* Modifying and working on MCC panels
* Reviewing I/O schedules, panel drawings, and test documentation
* Commissioning systems in line with specifications
* Completing site documentation and reports
* Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards
This is a field-based role with a high level of autonomy.
What You’ll Need
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
* ECS Gold Card
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Experience working with electrical systems and instrumentation
* Strong understanding of safe working practices
* Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have
* Experience in the water or utilities sector
* Familiarity with telemetry systems
* Strong IT skills (Excel etc.)
