About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for two temporary English Teachers to join welcoming and supportive 11–16 secondary schools across Leicestershire. These roles are ideal for passionate educators who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Both positions are full-time and offer the opportunity to work within well-established departments committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach a range of abilities across KS3 and KS4
* Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback
* Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
* Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
