Test Engineer

Role: Test Engineer Location: North Somerset Salary: £34k - £42k About the role We are recruiting on behalf of a market leading electronics manufacturer as they look to expand their production teams across a number of areas. Operating in industries such as Aerospace, Defence and Medical, our client offers high-quality, high-reliability PCB electronic assembly, manufacturing and custom box-build solutions. Due to growth across the business, our client is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer you will work closely with the Production & Inspection teams to understand product specifications, run a series of tests to ensure it meets the required standards. Responsibilities of Test Engineer * Gather product requirements * Run quality control on components and final products * Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes * Suggest fixes and improvements Requirements of Test Engineer * Previous experience as a Test Engineer within an electronics role * Hands on experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, incircuit debugger * QMS knowledge * Analytical mindset * Qualification in Electronic Engineering ideal but not essential Remuneration * £34k £42k starting salary * 20 days annual leave + bank holiday + Christmas shut down * Company pension and sick leave allowance
