Test Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a high-performing software delivery team working on secure, mission-critical systems across the defence, intelligence, and cyber sectors.

This hybrid role with opportunities available in Gloucester or Manchester.

Key responsibilities include:

* Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks

* Defining and managing test environments, data, and tools

* Producing test plans, deployment strategies, and reports

* Raising and managing defects through to resolution

* Writing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts

* Supporting Agile software teams in delivering secure, high-quality solutions

What we’re looking for:

* Experience working in Agile / Scrum / DevSecOps environments

* Experience deploying and configuring complex software on Linux / Windows

* Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and testing methodologies

* Experience producing test documentation and reports

* Current DV clearance is essential with eligibility for eDV Clearance

Desirable experience:

* Test automation frameworks and scripting/automation languages

* AWS and/or Azure

* Continuous Integration / CI pipelines

* Linux system administration

* Monitoring, logging, and performance testing tools
