TIG Welder Fabricator

We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join our client's busy and growing engineering/manufacturing team.

The Role

You will be responsible for TIG welding and fabricating high-quality components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

TIG welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
Fabricating and assembling components to drawing
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Setting up welding equipment and selecting the correct settings
Carrying out accurate measurements and quality checks
Preparing, cutting, bending and fitting materials
Producing clean, high-quality welds to a high standard
Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all company health & safety procedures

Requirements

Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator
Strong TIG welding experience
Experience working with stainless steel is highly desirable
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Good fabrication and fitting skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant welding/fabrication experience
