TIG Welder
This role focuses on producing high‑quality components where both structural integrity and cosmetic finish are critical. It requires a steady, precise approach and the ability to respond to changing priorities while maintaining consistently high standards.
The TIG Welder will be responsible for:
Performing precise TIG welding on thin‑gauge aluminium components (1-2 mm thickness)
Maintaining tight tolerances and delivering a consistent, high‑quality weld finish.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication specifications.
Completing pre‑weld preparation, tack welding and post‑weld finishing activities.
Adapting to urgent jobs and shifting priorities within a reactive production environment.
Working closely with engineers, fabricators and team leads to meet project deadlines.
The TIG Welder will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience TIG welding aluminium, ideally on thin‑gauge materials.
Proven ability to set up and operate TIG welding equipment independently.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver both structural and cosmetic weld quality.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Experience working within ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality‑controlled environments.
The ability to work effectively in fast‑paced manufacturing environments and manage workload priorities.
