I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded building preservation contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Timber & Damp Surveyor to join their growing team covering South Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with a strong background in remedial works and property protection to join a stable business with a long-standing reputation in the market.
The Role
As Timber & Damp Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and surveys on residential and commercial properties, diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works. Duties will include:
*
Undertaking timber, damp and structural surveys
*
Producing detailed reports and specifications
*
Identifying causes of damp ingress, decay and infestation
*
Preparing remedial solutions and costings
*
Liaising with clients, insurers and internal delivery teams
*
Supporting contract handovers to site teams
*
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
My client is keen to speak with surveyors who have:
*
CSRT qualification (essential)
*
Proven experience within an established building preservation business
*
Strong technical knowledge of damp proofing and timber treatment
*
Professional, client-facing approach
*
Full UK driving licence
