Tool Setter
The Role
Carrying out tool changes on blow and injection moulding machines in line with setting sheets and defined target times
Preparing all secondary equipment required for production and ensuring correct operation
Completing all tool change paperwork accurately and on time
Identifying and reporting defects with mould tools, dyes, secondary equipment or machinery
Supporting basic equipment maintenance (e.g. granulators and power packs) when required
Returning tools and dyes to the toolroom and maintaining excellent housekeeping and safety standards

The Candidate
FLT counterbalance license
Previous experience in tool setting / changing.
Experience completing tool and dye changes on injection and blow moulding machines, with the ability to follow structured setting documentation
The ability to work under pressure to meet time targets and be able to adapt quickly to unplanned priorities
Lifting and slinging experience
A proactive approach to problem solving, health and safety, and continuous improvement
Good verbal and written communication skills
A willingness to undertake any necessary training to fulfil the duties of the role
Benefits
Salary £35,000 - £37,000 per annum dependant on experience
