Toolmaker - Injection Moulding

Zenith are excited to be working with our client who are an expanding North-East based Manufacturer and are recruiting for a Time-served Toolmaker with a background in Injection Moulding on a permanent basis.

Main duties include but are not limited to:-

* Finding and rectifying faults on injection moulding Tooling (IMM)

* Maintenance / refurbishment of injection moulding tooling

* Assisting with the development and improvement of injection moulding Tooling

* Press and moulding tool setting

* Working closely with Engineers and Technicians

* Weekend overtime working is occasionally required

Candidate Profile

* Time served & qualified to a minimum level of BTEC ONC is Essential

Knowledge and Experience Required

* At least two years recent post apprenticeship experience

* Candidates should have experience in a similar role including a good knowledge of Injection Moulding

* Able to work Continental Shifts

* The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and assist in prioritization where applicable.

* Ability to perform when under pressure.

Hours of work

Continental Shift Pattern working 6am until 6pm and 6pm to 6am working 12 hour shifts on a 4 weekly rotation. Average working week is 42 hours per week with every other weekend off.
