Town Planner | Senior Town Planner

Job Title: Planner / Senior Planner (2-6 Years' Experience) Location: Southbank, London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly successful independent planning consultancy in their search for a talented Planner or Senior Planner to join their growing London team. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious planning professional with 2-6 years' experience to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive consultancy environment. You will join a collaborative team delivering commercially focused and strategic planning advice across a diverse range of projects nationwide, working closely with experienced colleagues and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Preparing and submitting planning applications Conducting site appraisals and planning assessments Liaising with clients, local planning authorities, and consultant teams Coordinating planning projects to ensure timely delivery Contributing to planning strategies and development solutions Monitoring and interpreting planning legislation and policy updates Supporting planning appeals where required About You 2-6 years' experience in town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment Strong experience preparing and submitting planning applications Experience undertaking site appraisals and contributing to planning strategies MRTPI Chartered or working towards chartership Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related discipline (RTPI-accredited preferred) Experience working on commercial and retail projects is highly desirable Why Apply?
