Trade Sales Manager
Role Overview
The Trade Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with trade customers, including distributors, installers, and showroom partners. This is a field-based role focused on driving sales growth, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring our products are specified and stocked across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
* Identify and win new business opportunities within trade suppliers, distributors, and glazing showrooms
* Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to maximise repeat business and customer loyalty
* Promote the company’s full range of high-quality uPVC doors, communicating key product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
* Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and training sessions for trade partners
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
* Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure seamless customer experience
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
Key Requirements
* Proven track record in field sales within the construction, fenestration, or building products industry (uPVC experience highly desirable)
* Strong network within trade suppliers, distributors, or glazing showrooms in Yorkshire and surrounding areas
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
* Commercially astute with strong business development capabilities
* Full UK driving licence
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
