Whether you are starting your career or already have some plating experience, this opportunity offers structured development and clear progression.   As a Trainee Plater, you will benefit from: Full training for those new to plating Opportunities to grow technical knowledge within Aerospace finishing processes On‑site parking Early finish on Fridays Supportive environment encouraging skill development As a Trainee Plater, your responsibilities will include: Preparing metal components through cleaning, degreasing and masking Operating electroplating tanks and monitoring key process controls Inspecting parts and checking plating thickness to quality standards Maintaining plating equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Recording accurate process information and completing documentation As a Trainee Plater, your experience will include: Previous experience in electroplating, ideally with cadmium or zinc‑nickel (advantageous but not essential) A methodical approach with strong attention to detail Confidence using tools and workshop equipment Understanding of surface preparation or plating processes (advantageous) A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
