Trainee Water Jetting Engineer / 7.5 Tonne Driver (Telecoms)

We are currently recruiting in collaboration with leading UK Telecom providers for a Trainee Water Jetting Engineer / 7.5 Tonne Driver to support large-scale duct de-silting contracts throughout the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term career progression. You will work alongside a fully trained Water Jetting Engineer and receive full training through our in-house training school team.

Requirements

* Valid UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (C1)

* Valid CPC (required)

* Minimum 1 year experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle

* Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting

* Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

* Basic maths skills (fuel, distance, scheduling)

* Must live local to / be able to commute to Northampton

* Must be willing to work a mixture of day and night shifts

* Strong work ethic and willingness to work away when required

* Must be willing to work away Mon-Friday on occasion

* Good spoken and written English

Working Hours

* 9–10 hour shifts average

* Monday to Friday

* Night shifts included

* Overtime available

* Weekend availability may be required

Pay & Benefits

* Competitive pay: £39,000 – £47,000 per year

* Overtime available

* Working away bonus paid per day

* Quarterly bonus after 1 year of service
