Your responsibilities as Trainee Welding Inspector/Examiner
Support weld procedure and welder qualification testing on client sites
Assist senior inspectors with inspections and technical assessments
Ensure all activities meet relevant welding standards and compliance requirements
Record and report inspection findings accurately and consistently
Travel to sites across the UK to support ongoing testing and certification work
Maintain safety and quality standards throughout all inspection activities
What we’re looking for in a Trainee Welding Inspector/Examiner
Background in welding, fabrication, or non-destructive testing
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in welding
Experience carrying out or supporting weld inspections
Understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry standards
Full UK driving licence
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available and sometimes required
