Translations Team Manager
You will co-lead an in-house European localisation team, overseeing quality, workflows, and delivery while partnering with another Team Leader. The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Research, Sales, Legal and Compliance, supporting the firm’s international growth.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of in-house European linguists
Coordinate localisation projects, priorities, and resources
Drive linguistic quality, workflows, and best practices
Develop tone, language and style guides for European markets
Manage external translation vendors and reporting
Your background:
Fluent English and a European language (in particular French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish)
Degree in Translation or Linguistics, or similar (MA desirable)
5+ years’ leadership experience in translation/localisation
Experience with in the financial or legal industries
Strong knowledge of CAT tools and TMS platforms (e.g. Phrase, MemoQ, Trados)
