Transport Manager

Recruit Assist have an exciting opportunity, for an experienced Transport Manager, to join my pallet network client in North London. Salary: £45 to £50k Job Title: Company Transport Manager Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am to 330pm Main responsibilities: * Managing the company fleet of vehicles * Arranging maintenance, servicing and repairs * O License responsibility * Previous experience of HGV1, HGV2, 7.5T and Van fleets * Responsible for the supply chain that leads into the transport department * Managing drivers * Keeping tight control of costs and risk * Reporting to the MD on KPI Candidate requirements: * 3 years as a Transport Manager * Experience of working within the Pallet network (ideal) * Qualified Transport Manager * Confident and strong managerial skills * Experience of recruiting, training, and supporting drivers * ACAS principles To be considered for this Transport Manager opportunity all candidates must apply for this position and then we will review your application and contact you by phone and email
