Transport Planner

We are hiring for a Traffic planner to join our busy transport team in Crick!   This is a great ongoing temp opportunity with a global supply chain, with the potential of joining the client on a permanent basis for the right candidate.   Responsibilities  Driver & vehicle management for Daventry dedicated operation  Overseeing nightly trunking activity from Daventry   Schedule dedicated delivery vehicles in Daventry  Attendance on all appropriate service conference calls as required  Adherence to site policies and procedures  Provide operational updates to operations manager on a regular basis.  Provide exceptional services and ensure customer satisfaction by supporting overall performance  Helping to resolve issues and disputes.  The main skills we are looking for are:   Attention to detail   Time management   Great team player   Confident working alone  Transport knowledge desirable  Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders  Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook  This is for our busy client in Crick, you will be a vital part of the transport office team, dealing with drivers as well as the customer and your colleagues.    Previous transport planning or transport admin experience is preferable but not essential.    Full training is provided.      Shift Details:    Monday to Friday   2pm to 11pm – 1-hour unpaid lunch break   PAYE - £14.42 per hour  You will be expected to be flexible around operational needs
