Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to oversee daily service delivery and support transport operations. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily service delivery and allocate work to vehicles/routes
Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and drivers
Conduct driver debriefs and provide operational support
Resolve on-route issues and support frontline teams
Promote and enforce safe working practices
Ensure compliance with transport regulations (WTD, Operator Licence)
Requirements
Essential:
Knowledge of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD)
Strong communication skills across all levels
Ability to manage a busy and fast-paced workload
Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
Desirable:
Experience in waste, transport, or logistics sectors
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO)
