Part-Time 1:1 Tutor - Salford 📍 Salford 🕒 Part-Time Hours (Flexible) 👩‍🏫 1:1 Tuition | Out-of-School Provision 🤝 Via Education Agency Are you a patient, resilient and experienced tutor looking to make a meaningful difference? We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to work part-time with a child in Salford who is not currently accessing mainstream education. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised, structured support to help re-engage a young learner with education. About the Role: Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in core subjects (typically English and Maths) Plan and adapt lessons to meet the child's individual needs and learning style Build a positive, trusting relationship to support engagement and confidence Work closely with parents/carers and the agency to track progress Sessions may take place in the home or community setting The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children with additional needs, SEMH, or those out of education Be confident delivering differentiated lessons Demonstrate patience, empathy and strong behaviour management skills Be able to work independently and adapt to changing needs Hold relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications (QTS desirable but not essential) What We Offer: Flexible part-time hours Competitive hourly rate Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant Opportunity to have a genuine impact on a child's educational journey This role would suit a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or strong HLTA with a background in alternative provision or SEN support.
