Van Driver - Grantham

Driver Hire Nottingham & Newark are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Grantham on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be based at the client's Grantham depot, delivering and collecting laundry from a range of customers, including:

* Restaurants

* Hotels

* Larger commercial customers

The role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, along with loading and unloading the van yourself. The job includes regular cage work, so you must be comfortable with manual handling.

Hours & Pay

* Monday to Friday

* Start times between 6:00am and 7:00am

* No weekends

* £12.71 per hour

* Overtime paid daily after 8 hours

* Overtime rate: £19.06 per hour

* Temp-to-perm opportunity

* Full-time permanent position available for the right candidate

Requirements

To be considered for this Van Driver position, you must have:

* A full UK driving licence

* 6 points or fewer on your licence

* Right to work in the UK

* Previous van driving experience

* A reliable and professional approach

* Good customer service skills

* The ability to load and unload laundry cages

Multi-drop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
