Apply NowWe are currently recruiting 3.5T Van Drivers to join a well-established data technology company based in Slough. This role involves completing local delivery runs from the warehouse, transporting palletised goods using tail lifts and pump trucks.
Drivers may occasionally be asked to assist with light warehouse duties during quieter shifts; however, van driver rates will apply at all times.
Key Responsibilities
*
Drive a 3.5-tonne van safely and professionally.
*
Complete local delivery runs in and around the Slough area.
*
Load and unload palletised goods using a tail lift and pump truck (all provided).
*
Work alongside a driver’s mate on certain routes when required.
*
Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects.
*
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
*
Assist with general warehouse duties during quiet periods (paid at driver rate).
*
Adhere to all road safety and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
*
Minimum age 25 years or above (insurance purposes).
*
Clean UK driving licence (no points or endorsements).
*
Experience driving 3.5T vans (preferred).
*
Comfortable handling palletised loads.
*
Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
Additional Information
*
All routes are local to the Slough warehouse – no long-distance runs.
*
Tail lift, pump truck, and equipment assigned to each van.
*
Supportive working environment within a growing data technology company
