Apply NowOur client, a leading fleet workshop in Reading, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy service team.
This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for skilled automotive professionals to work within a reputable, national fleet environment and further develop their technical expertise while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.
Benefits:
Up to £38,760 basic salary with an OTE of approximately £44,760 through bonus schemes
42.5-hour working week with shifts from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota basis, with overtime paid at 1.5x
Working within a professional, national fleet workshop environment
24 days holiday plus bank holidays
Continuous support from a renowned employer committed to staff developmentDuties of the Vehicle Technician:
Performing vehicle servicing and routine checks
Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs to manufacturer standards
Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
Conducting vehicle road tests post-repair or servicing work
Supporting team members with technical advice and assistance to ensure high-quality service deliveryRequirements:
Fully qualified Light Vehicle Technician with a Level 3 qualification; Vehicle Technicians with a Level 2 qualification and extensive industry experience will also be considered
Confident in carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a range of vehicle makes and models
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
