Location: Cheetham Hill, Manchester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Their focus remains on delivering value to both retail partners and end consumers through a combination of commercial insight and design innovation.

The Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their site in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations

* Managing, supervising, and motivating warehouse staff

* Ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods

* Implementing and maintaining effective stock control processes

* Conducting regular stock takes and ensuring inventory accuracy

* Optimising warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency

* Ensuring garments are handled and stored to a high standard

* Maintaining health & safety standards and compliance at all times

* Liaising with internal teams regarding stock levels, orders, and deliveries

* Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse role

* Experience within clothing, textiles, or retail environments is highly desirable

* Strong leadership and team management skills

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

* Good IT skills, including experience with stock management systems

* Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a warehouse setting

* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

* Right to work in the UK
