Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits
A successful international manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its UK warehouse operation.
This is a hands-on role combining team leadership with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, safety and customer service.
The Role
* Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation
* Lead, motivate and develop a small warehouse team
* Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
* Maintain excellent stock and inventory accuracy
* Investigate stock and delivery discrepancies
* Manage workload and resources to meet customer requirements
* Monitor warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement
* Maintain strong Health & Safety and housekeeping standards
* Work closely with internal departments and external transport providers
* Improve warehouse processes and working practices
The Person
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor ready to take responsibility for an established operation.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience
* Strong goods-in, stock control and dispatch knowledge
* Experience managing and developing warehouse staff
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Experience using warehouse, stock or ERP systems
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* A practical, hands-on management style
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical product distribution would be useful but isn't essential.
