An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a growing specialist coffee business based in Acton. This is a hands-on role offering a varied workload within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse
Receiving, organising and storing stock efficiently
Picking, packing and dispatching orders
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift for loading and unloading deliveries
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
Preparing coffee samples and assisting with packing duties
Supporting order fulfilment and basic customer service enquiries
Assisting with warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment
Providing general support to the wider sales and logistics team
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous warehouse experience
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Basic IT skills, including email and spreadsheets
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
Ability to work in a physical role involving manual handling
Desirable Skills
Experience in packing and dispatch operations
Customer service experience
Interest in coffee, food production or hospitality
Experience with stock control and inventory management
