Warehouse Packer

The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering books and picking and packing books ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks- only 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved. Safety footwear and HI- VIS vest must be worn whilst on site - no mobile phones are permitted to be used in the workplace
