About the role

We're recruiting experienced Team Leaders for a busy distribution centre in Dunstable. Leading a team of 25 in your area of the operation, your main role is to keep that team engaged, motivated and performing at its best every shift.

What you'll be doing

Leading and motivating your team of approx 25 colleagues to hit productivity, quality and accuracy targets

Taking responsibility for health and safety: making sure tasks follow procedure, supporting risk assessments and investigating accidents, incidents and near misses

Driving continuous improvement (Kaizen), planning up to three months ahead and involving your team in finding better ways of working

Supporting internal and external site audits, recording any non-conformances and taking corrective action

Making fair, consistent decisions, maintaining confidentiality and acting professionally at all times

What we're looking for

A confident communicator who can influence, motivate and build strong relationships with colleagues and managers
