Warehouse Team Leader Job Title – Warehouse Team Leader Location – Telford, Shropshire Salary – £39,146 Shift – Monday to Friday (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00) Hours – 40 hours per week Contract – Permanent Job Role of the Warehouse Team Leader An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and well-structured distribution operation. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive performance, maintain high standards of safety and accuracy, and motivate a team to consistently achieve operational targets. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure accurate, safe and timely handling of products, delivering the correct product, quantity and quality to customers on time. This is a key position within the operation, supporting productivity, compliance and continuous improvement. Sector – Warehouse & Distribution Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Leader Lead and supervise warehouse operatives to achieve productivity and accuracy targets Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety Conduct investigations and disciplinary meetings where required Ensure correct product presentation and dispatch accuracy Induct, train and support new and agency staff Monitor attendance, productivity and KPI performance Communicate operational updates and escalate issues appropriately Safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem resolution Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Warehouse Team Leader Previous warehouse leadership experience within a fast-paced environment Desirable Requirements FMCG experience IOSH Managing Safely qualification Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) The Warehouse Team Leader will benefit from: Competitive salary of £39,146 Monday to Friday shift pattern 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays Stable and growing business Opportunity to develop leadership skills within a structured environment
