About the role…
As a Trenchless Lining Technician, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of patching and lining repairs across drainage networks. Working closely with the Lining Engineer, you will ensure high?quality rehabilitation works through hands?on operational support, safe resin handling, equipment operation, and accurate CCTV inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Support CIPP lining and patch repairs by preparing tools, equipment, and materials for each installation
Safely prepare and mix resins, handle materials, and follow all safety procedures
Set up and operate inversion drums, curing systems, winches, CCTV equipment, and related tools
Assist with installation activities including positioning, inflation, curing, and cooling
Carry out pre? and post?installation CCTV inspections
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and confined space requirements
Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean and organised
Support loading, unloading, cleaning, and preparation of materials
Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
Contribute to workflow improvements and team efficiency
About you…
Qualifications
Previous experience in drainage works, ideally patching & lining or as a drainage operative
CSCS / EUSR
Confined Space certification
Full UK Driving Licence
Lining equipment training or qualifications (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge & Experience
Practical experience in drainage, utilities, construction, or similar environments
Understanding of CIPP lining and patch repairs (or willingness to train)
Experience with lining equipment, curing systems, winches, or CCTV rigs
Ability to safely mix resins and follow strict procedures
Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards
Skills & Personal Qualities
Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
