Location: Ivybridge, Devon
Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour for the right candidate – negotiable depending on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established engineering and fabrication company based in Ivybridge.

The role will involve welding, fabricating and assembling a variety of metal components while working accurately from technical drawings and specifications.

Duties

MIG welding and general fabrication

*

Working from engineering and technical drawings

*

Cutting, shaping and preparing materials

*

Fabricating and assembling metal components

*

Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment

*

Assembling fabricated parts into finished products and structures

*

Checking completed work to ensure a high standard of quality

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

*

Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience

*

Confident working from technical drawings

*

Good general fabrication skills

*

Experience using workshop tools and machinery

*

Good attention to detail

*

Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

*

TIG or other welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential
