Apply NowAJP are currently looking for skilled, time-served 111 MMA/ 136 FCAW Welders to support a structural steel installation project involving an ACST stairway tower. This project will be based in South Shields, some work will be required in Blyth so must be able to travel.
Duties include:
Marking out, cutting & notching S355 beams
Fitting and tacking new sections to existing structures
Full structural welding (fillet & full pen)
Grinding, cleaning & inspection prep
Surface prep and coating touch-ups
Working at height
You'll be working alongside supervisors, riggers, and client reps on scaffold-supported hot works, crane lifts, and structural reinstatement.
The project will be for 20 days (Potential to be extended)
6 days per week - 10 hour shifts. There will be an opportunity to work 7 days per week.
Start date: ASAP
Must have in date certs - Trade test required in Blyth before starting
Can pay CIS/Umbrella
8 hours £27 CIS
8+ hours £30 CIS
Saturday £32 CIS
Sunday £37 CIS
