Architectural Welder
Location: Luton area
Salary: £17–£19 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Mon–Fri, day shift
Contract: Permanent, Full time
We’re looking for an experienced Architectural Welder to join a busy and growing structural steel and architectural metalwork fabricator. This is a workshop‑based role producing high‑quality fabricated steelwork for commercial and construction projects.
Key Duties of this Architectural Welder position:
Welding structural steel components to engineering drawings
Working with mild steel plate, box section, beams, and fabricated assemblies
MIG & TIG welding to a high standard
Carrying out basic fabrication, fitting, and finishing work
Ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards
Working closely with fabricators, welders, and the wider team
What You Need for this Architectural Welder position:
MUST HAVE – Architectural welding experience
Competent MIG welding experience
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience working with structural or architectural steel
Good attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have:
Fabrication and fitting experience
Coding / weld qualifications
Structural experience
