MIG Welder Location: Sheffield Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG welding on a range of metal components while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other metals to a high standard Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning prior to welding Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely Carry out basic fabrication tasks when required Maintain a clean and organised working environment Follow all health and safety procedures Requirements Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand technical drawings Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong awareness of workplace health and safety Relevant welding qualifications or certifications preferred but not essential Working Hours Full-time position Monday to Friday Overtime may be available depending on workload Benefits Competitive salary Overtime opportunities Training and development opportunities Stable, full-time employment To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Ace Engineering, please do not hesitate to apply
