Welder/Fabricator

Our client requires, due to growth, an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their well-established business of over 20 years. The business specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke automated gates and access solutions. This is a varied role combining workshop fabrication with on-site installation work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Fabrication and assembly of automated gates and access systems * Manufacturing of: * Handrails * Balustrades * Staircases * Cat ladders * Secondary steelwork * Supporting installation teams on-site when required * Carrying out on-site MMA (stick) welding * Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality bespoke products * Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards ✅ Essential Requirements: * Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder * Valid CSCS card * Full UK driving licence (essential for site work) * Ability to work both independently and within a team ⭐ Desirable (but not essential): * Previous experience as a coded welder * Knowledge of BS EN 1090 standards * Experience within the gate automation or access control sector 💡 What’s on Offer: * Permanent opportunity * Competitive salary (dependent on experience) * Diverse and interesting projects * Opportunity to work on high-quality bespoke installations * Supportive and skilled team environment
