Wet Worker
Pay Rate: £225 per day (self-employed / CIS basis) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Plumber to carry out maintenance, repair, and installation works across social housing properties. The role involves working in occupied and void properties, delivering high-quality plumbing services while ensuring excellent customer care for tenants. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in social housing properties * Diagnose and fix faults including leaks, burst pipes, faulty taps, toilets, and heating systems * Install and maintain hot and cold water systems, drainage, and sanitary ware * Complete planned works (bathroom/kitchen upgrades) and reactive maintenance tasks * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations * Provide a professional and respectful service when working in tenants’ homes * Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation * Identify and report any additional works or health & safety concerns * Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided) Skills & Experience Required: * Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Experience working in occupied properties * Good communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
