Window Fitter / Multi‑Skilled Joiner – Social Housing

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established social housing contractor for an experienced Window Fitter / UPVC Installer with all‑round joinery and general trades knowledge. This role involves working in occupied social housing properties, delivering high‑quality installations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Install and repair UPVC, aluminium, and timber windows
Glazing works including double‑glazed unit replacement
Remove existing frames and make good internally and externally
Carry out basic joinery and multi‑trade making‑good works
Work safely, compliantly, and tidily in occupied homes
Communicate professionally with tenants
Complete job sheets and compliance paperwork

Requirements

Proven experience as a window fitter / UPVC installer
Strong all‑round joinery and trades knowledge
Experience in social housing
CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence
Good customer service and H&S awareness

Desirable

NVQ Level 2/3 (Fenestration, Glazing, or Joinery)
Housing association or council experience
Asbestos Awareness / Working at Height
