Location: Northampton
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading commercial vehicle specialist with a long-standing reputation for supporting the UK transport industry.
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and modern operation in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of workshop performance, support a skilled team of technicians, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery are maintained.
Automotive Workshop Controller -What's on Offer?
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
22 days holiday plus bank holidays

Automotive Workshop Controller -Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the day-to-day workshop operation
Ensure servicing, maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Support technicians with technical guidance and assistance
Maximise workshop productivity and labour utilisation
Sign off job cards and service documentation
Monitor costs and assist with departmental budget control
Maintain excellent customer service and communication standards
Ensure compliance with company and industry health and safety requirements
Automotive Workshop Controller -About You
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, Senior Technician or similar role
Strong commercial vehicle or HGV maintenance knowledge
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage a busy workshop environment
Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
