Job Title: Wraparound Care Assistant (Before & After School Clubs) Location: Leicester (various primary schools) Hours: 7:00am–9:00am and/or 3:00pm–6:00pm Contract Type: Casual / Supply Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Assistants to support before and afterschool clubs across a range of primary schools in Leicester. This is a flexible, casual supply role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for part-time hours, with opportunities to take on additional work as a Teaching Assistant (TA) through our agency. Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children across all primary year groups Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities to keep students motivated and entertained Supervise children during play, snack times, and structured sessions Encourage positive behaviour and support social development Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times Work collaboratively with school staff and other club members What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar setting preferred) A proactive and creative approach to planning activities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare (training can be provided) What We Offer: Flexible working hours to fit your schedule Opportunities to work additional days as a Teaching Assistant through the agency Experience across a variety of school settings Ongoing support and development opportunities Ideal Candidate: This role is perfect for individuals who are energetic, organised, and passionate about supporting children’s development in a fun and engaging environment.
