Year 2/3 Class Teacher - Long-Term Location: Bridgwater, Somerset Start Date: 23rd February 2026 Duration: Until the end of the academic year Pay: £140 - £260 per day (dependent on experience and pay type) Prospero Teaching are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bridgwater who are seeking a Year 2/3 mixed class teacher for a long-term booking starting 23rd February 2026 until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher who is confident delivering the primary curriculum and creating a positive, engaging learning environment. The Role: Full class teaching responsibility for a mixed Year 2/3 class Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Working collaboratively with support staff, senior leaders and parents Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and progress The Ideal Candidate Will Have: QTS Experience teaching in KS1 and/or lower KS2 (Year 2 and/or Year 3 desirable) Strong classroom and behaviour management skills A nurturing, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work with Prospero Teaching?
