Yard Operative

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established and growing engineering client based in Littleport, who is seeking a Yard Operative to join their team. Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am – 2:00pm Duties will include: * Operating Counterbalance FLT * Loading and unloading vehicles (goods in & goods out) * Manual handling of heavy engineering materials and components * Picking, preparing and dispatching orders * Using hand and power tools * Supporting general yard and workshop operations The ideal candidate will have: * A valid Counterbalance FLT licence * Experience within a yard, warehouse or engineering environment * Experience using hand and power tools * Good understanding of safe manual handling practices * Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting * A reliable and hardworking attitude * Access to own transport This is a physically demanding role and will involve regular heavy lifting.
