Year 1 Teacher Needed Location: Moston Start Date: April Contract: Full Time Salary: Paid in line with the Main Pay Scales A welcoming and well-regarded Primary School in Moston is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from April. This is a full-time position, ideal for a teacher who is confident delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum and building strong relationships with pupils at this important stage of their development. The Role: Full responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing the Year 1 curriculum Creating engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners Supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1 Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment to inform teaching Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders Contributing to staff meetings, planning sessions and wider school life The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable) Have a strong understanding of phonics and early reading Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning Be enthusiastic, reliable and a positive team player What the School Offers: Salary in line with the teacher pay scales A supportive and approachable leadership team Well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn A positive and collaborative working environment How to Apply: If you are interested in this Year 1 teaching role in Moston, we would love to hear from you.
