We are currently recruiting on behalf of a high‑performing primary school in Lambeth for a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism.

About the role As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with Autism
Support pupils in accessing the mainstream curriculum
Help maintain structured routines to support learning and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
Uphold the school’s high expectations for learning and conductThe ideal candidate will:
Be academically bright and articulate
Be confident, proactive, and resilient
Have experience working with Autism, or a strong interest in SEN
Be comfortable working in a high‑expectations, structured environment
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skillsThis role would suit someone who is serious about education and SEN support and who thrives in a school that sets high standards for both staff and pupils.
